I just wanted to start a thread for anyone out there applying to Memorial Hermann's Nurse Residency for Summer 2016!!

Has anyone heard from a representative from Memorial Hermann Memorial City? I'm from out of state and would like to start preparing for the move and the new job, in addition to taking the NCLEX! If anyone has started a group on Facebook, as well, I'd love to join, just to get to know everyone!

I will not be at the memorial city location. I'll be working at the TMC Location. But I'm from out of state as well. And just like you, i want to know Something so I can finalize my moving plans lol. I hope we hear something this week!!!

And yes yes if there's anyone who started a Facebook group, I would love to join to get to meet some people since I don't know anyone really in Houston!

Same here! I'm not new to Texas, but new to the city and I don't know very many people. I would definitely be interested in joining a FB group!

I'll go ahead and create a Facebook group. In order to do so, I need to add one person first to the group so I can create it. It's not letting me create the group. If there's anyone who wants to send me their name and I'll add you on Facebook then create the group.

I just emailed my recruiter and she replied back and said the start date is still July 1st. && that she promises we should hear from new hire services no later than June. She said they can only run background checks within a 30 day window. So maybe we will hear from someone next week or the week after. I hope this helps a little. I don't know if it applies to all hospital locations but hopefully this gives everyone a general idea.

Night shift dif is $4/hr. Don't remember what weekend and evening shift diff are, but they are not much.
