I just wanted to start a thread for anyone out there applying to Memorial Hermann's Nurse Residency for Summer 2016!!

THANK YOU!!! That answers just about everything I was curious about! I applied to Northeast OR and Woodlands IMCU! I'm hoping that I land either one! *Crossing my fingers*

One more question!

I keep getting emails from Memorial Hermann @ myworkday telling me to check my notifications but I do not have a login to Workday. The only login I have is to the job application process page.

You won't have access to workday until you're an employee which is frustrating with the workday emails you're getting now lol PM with any other questions you have

I'm not sure how to PM you.

I just got the call from the recruiter at MH Northeast and she told me to take the behavioral assessment and she said she would call me back if I'm in Match day or not!

I'm not sure what a behavioral assessment is all about or what to expect? I'm hoping I get a good call back!

Hey! I applied as well but I haven't heard anything back. My application status for my first choice says "Application under review" so I'm hoping that means it's good news!

Which hospital did you apply to?

My application didn't say it was under review until after my phone call with the recruiter, so I'm not 100% sure.

I applied at children's and Southeast. I actually got an email today for an invite to their pre-match day open house at Children's, Hopefully that's a good sign!! But no phone calls yet.

Hi, I graduated in May and I applied for the winter 2017 cohort at the woodlands and greater heights. I got an email from the recruiter stating I may get a possible invite to match day at the woodlands. I moved here from Louisiana, so I don't know anyone. Is anyone else possibly going to this?

A classmate of mine just received a call from the greater heights today during clinical. I applied to both Northeast and the Woodlands. The recruiter told me if I didn't get the match day for Northeast my application then would been sent to the woodlands next. I did get the Match day for Northeast though!

That's awesome! Congrats! Did they say what day Match day is? Hopefully I get a call soon. I only know of one other person in my cohort that applied but she got an email stating they were moving forward with another candidate.

Match day is basically just a panel interview with higher ups and people that work/run the unit you are applying to. I'm already trying to get ready for interview questions... but first, I need to pass an exam before worrying about the interview.

Haha and I know what you mean, I have a HESI exam and a final next week! It'd just be nice to have something to look forward to!
