Memorial Hermann Summer 2016 Residency

Hi Everyone!

I just wanted to start a thread for anyone out there applying to Memorial Hermann's Nurse Residency for Summer 2016!!

A classmate of mine just received a call from the greater heights today during clinical. I applied to both Northeast and the Woodlands. The recruiter told me if I didn't get the match day for Northeast my application then would been sent to the woodlands next. I did get the Match day for Northeast though!

Did they say what day match day is? I'm hoping to get an invite for Children's or the woodlands - trying to plan ahead since I'll be coming from California. Thanks!!

I received an email today to do the behavioral assessment and the recruiter said Match day will be on October 18th!

Match Day is different for every hospital since they are individualized. So far I know Northeast is on the 18th and so is Greater Heights

Hello, I just got the call to do an interview for the nurse residency program at greater heights, I was hoping you could give me some insight on how your first interview went?

I am extremely nervous and have started to prepare but there are so many things I feel like they can ask.

Everyone had their match day interviews yesterday that I'm aware of. I had 2 at MH Northeast for IMU and ER. My IMU interview didn't feel to good but you never know! My ER interview felt pretty good! I'm just crossing my fingers!

I also had mine yesterday at Children's MH, I'm really not sure how I feel about how it went...I'm very hopeful but I just felt so nervous! I sent thank you emails to each of the ladies I interviewed with and one replied back to me.

Got an email back from MH Northeast, they have chosen to go with another candidate :/

Well nothing much else I can do... On to the next hospital.

I interviewed at Memorial Hermann TMC yesterday, and it was really hard for me to get a feel for how good it was. The interviewers were nice and told me I did very well but they also told the other two people interviewing with me the same. But it's in god's hands, that's all I can say at the moment.

A classmate of mine said the same thing! Like it was hard to stand out in fast, clustered interview!
