Memorial Health Care Nurse Residency 2020

Hey everyone! I wanted to start a thread for the Memorial Healthcare Nurse Residency program in Hollywood, FL. I know that interviews should start in May so I thought it would be great if we could communicate here! I applied to the July 2020 cohort. Anyone else? I'm hoping for the NICU. What units did you guys select?

I sure hope so this is stressful

Have you guys applied to any other nurse residencies in Florida? I planned to apply to Nicklaus children’s but I see that too has been canceled as the November cohort is now the only one I see. Still waiting on Baptist health and broward health to post residency applications. This is more than stressful?

This was the the only one I applied for if I don’t get in I’ll just go to an HCA hospital

I haven't heard anything, but they haven't even interviewed internal candidates yet (PCAs that recently graduated RNs).

The interview time frame is supposed to begin on the 6th so I'm going to hold out hope this isn't a bad sign. The increasing corona cases however...
