Hey everyone! I wanted to start a thread for the Memorial Healthcare Nurse Residency program in Hollywood, FL. I know that interviews should start in May so I thought it would be great if we could communicate here! I applied to the July 2020 cohort. Anyone else? I'm hoping for the NICU. What units did you guys select?

I hear that they're calling people, has anyone gotten a call?

@nursetaylorrr did you do any clinicals at memorial? I think they called those people. I wonder if/when they'll call any "outside" applications

I did mine at memorial and I did not get a call.

@nursepaloma I think thos epeople that got a call are in a special program within Memorial, they did all their clinicals there

If you mean the Memorial scholarship recipients, they have already been "hired". Hopefully there's plenty of spots left for the rest of us. ?

@nursepaloma no, the people hat got a call back for interviews are not scholarship. They were in a special program with memorial where they did all their clinicals there.

@nursepaloma you know, now that I've asked someone that is part of the scholarship program and someone that just interviewed as part of this special program, it seems very similar. Their website says that they'll be interviewing in July, so I'm hoping that after this program gets their hired on, they'll move on to other candidates? One can hope
