Meeting AllNurses in Real Life?

Has anyone else ever wondered what it would be like to meet the other AN contributors in real life?

There's a part of me that thinks it would be so amazing to get all of us together in a room (kind of like an AN conference, lol). I get that AN exists based on the premise of anonymity, but in an alternate reality, I'd love to actually meet the nurses behind the many of avatars I've grown so fond of over the years. It makes me wonder how closely these people's real personalities match their online personas. I've definitely got some contributors in mind that I'd be so excited to meet. l especially love the idea of personally thanking the ones who have helped me grow as a nurse. ?

I got to meet a few at NTI this past May. It was actually very exciting and energetic. I loved it!

I've got to meet 100+ AN members over the years, some in my own area, most at AACN's NTI yearly conference; and a few in New Orleans at Mardi Gras!

Sounds like NTI is where it's at! I know you guys do a lot of interviews there, but is there a formal presence like a booth? How does this kind of meet up even happen?

Davey!! You're one of the AllNurses I'd like to meet most of all! (I almost gave you a shout out in the original post, but I thought that might seem creepy). They did have a formal booth at NTI. They were also a sponsor of the event and had a nifty high tech phone charging station.

I am a lot like lettuce, all crispy and good when fresh, but I soon wilt and do not travel well.

I've only met @traumaRUs and @tnbutterfly at NTI this year. Years ago back when I lived in the Midwest, I was logged in on allnurses when a co-worker walked past me and said "aha, you're juan de la cruz at allnurses", she was a member here too.
