Hi everyone! I received an email from IHNA informing me that there will be changes in the course structure and course duration of the bridging program. The new program will be different from the current one and it will take more than 9 weeks. It will last for 6 months! How true is this? Does anyone know or hear about this? If yes, is there any school left that offer 3 month program?

are you currently enrolled in IHNA? will it affect the current schedules of the intake?

I was talking with an agent for IHNA before opting for ACN. What he told me was that there would be changes in course structure but the duration would be 16 weeks...
Oh well, if the letter is directly from IHNA, I cannot argue with that... but imho 6 months seem to be too much unless it guarantees immediate ANMAC positive assessment after graduation.

I am also confused because some guy from IHNA wrote in the email that,
"The new program will be different with the current (9 weeks) IRON Program in terms of course structure and schedule.
It will be longer and will last for 6 months"
I mean 6 months is a loooong time!
Hi. Anyone here who already applied to ANMAC? I am wondering if someone can send me a sample of his professional reference letter just to make sure I am doing the right thing. I plan of doing it myself so that my supervisor wont have a hard time thinking of what to write in my reference letter. With regards also to the official email address of the referee, does anmac really don't accept email address like @gmail and @yahoo? Thank you to those who can help.
@cucci: So far I haven't encountered a negative assessment among my cohort and friends here. ANMAC's process is independent from AHPRA and may take time to process depending on any new requirements set out (I believe there had been some changes from 2015 when we did ours). But keep an positive attitude, six months maybe longer but it'll give you more confidence and competency which you will need once you're an RN on a very busy floor.
@Tanbirsingh: On the Upside Tanbri, you might be required to get a Student Visa which offers a host of advantages over a business visit visa after your bridging course although I agree, 9 weeks to 6 months is a long jump.
In addition to that, my IELTS score result is only valid till December 2017
