Meeting AHPRA requirements as a International Trained Nurse from the Philippines
I am not sure if declaring my Masters Degree affected my application though i believe being educated in the PH does not guarantee an exemption for BP and my experience using my USRN license would matter for them as well. God bless us all. You are right, just hope fornthe best.

Meeting AHPRA requirements as a International Trained Nurse from the Philippines
Instead of referral letter I was able receive this email: Request for an extension of time in order to decide your application for general registration as a Registered Nurse Thank you for lodging your application for registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia (the Board). Your application is currently under assessment. Under section 85 of the Health Practitioner Regulation National Law, as in force in each state and territory (the National Law), if a Board or its delegate has not made a decision about your application by 15 June 2017, your application will automatically be refused unless an extension of this date is agreed upon. Given that, we propose to extend this date until 13 September 2017. If you agree to this extension please advise us in writing by 1 June 2017. What do you think colleagues? Quite disappointed this time because you waited for more than a month and still no referral letter.

Bridging Program in Australia
I agree, but the thing about it, is that, with your 10 years of experience in the US is more than enough for you to be exempted. I read about some of Filipino nurses who does have less than 2 years and another 1 with almost 3 years working and they were all exempted to take the BP. Probably it is a case to case basis.

Bridging Program in Australia
really? they still push you to go through BP despite your experience in USA, I have read some of US RN's here were exempted to take the BP.

How to send American proof of nursing license to Australia?
Hi guys i have the same problem, i have not seen any forms on APHRA's website for them to verify my license in 4 states that i am registered. (2 expired; Texas and Northern Marianas and 2 active; Colorado and American Samoa). So this means that i have to asked and pay them to send a paper verification whatsoever?. Hkimi is right about verifying this via nursys.com which is more accurate.

2016 US RN to Australia
I am a Filipino RN who is currently working in a US territory and not in the mainland. Did APHRA asked the states that you are currently registered for them to verify. Because in my case i have two states that are expired (which i did not use for practice) and 2 active licenses. Thanks.

Hi Sir, just few question sir. Being an experienced RN in the US, did they require you to take the bridging program? And what about the secondary school, do they still need the Form 137? Thank you.
