Hi Jenxx, where u from? Are you already here in Australia? SCU recently offers its IRON program for nurses, i believe they would be very tough unlike to some colleges in Perth, Melbourne which i believe its just chill and smooth all throughout the course. :)
Hi pulsate! Yes, I'm living in the Sunshine Coast, north of Brisbane. So I'm close to Gold Coast. How about you?
Why do you think SCU would be very tough?
hi! regarding the AGOS-40 form, on the first page, it is stated that STAPLES, glue and the like are not allowed. does this mean that the whole 14-page form should not be stapled as well? i know this question sounds silly. just want to be sure. hehe. thanks!
yes, i didn't staple anything. so basically, with all the requirements and the agos-40 form, it looks like a ream of paper. haha.

Anybody in here who is enrolling for the February intake at Southern Cross University, Gold Coast?
And also, is there anybody in here who could give me some comments about the bridging course at Deakin University? Is it hard? Do they accept all applicants with complete requirements or do they refuse some applicants? I am worried because I am in a hurry to take to the bridging course this coming 2017 and their intake is on June, so it's a bit late already. So if they will not accept me, I don't know where to go anymore because I just want to study in a university (personal reasons) and 2017 will be my last year to enroll in a bridging course. And one more question, how about after doing the course, do they fail students? I just have few months of volunteer experience and that was year 2012 and honestly, I forgot heaps of nursing concepts and skills already.
I am just waiting for my AHPRA letter and I am choosing between Southern Cross University (but it's too long - 6 months) and Deakin University, since La Trobe University is not offering a bridging course anymore and Monash University will not accept me because I have less than a year hospital experience.
Thank you very much co-nurses!
