Meeting AHPRA requirements as a International Trained Nurse from the Philippines

Yes, i forwarded the docs as required by the 8 criteria and arranged it according to the agos40 checklist. My sister did the request back home to have the good standing, compre nsg outline, accreditation and pharma. It came out smooth, these third party docs arrived the next business day after i submitted my application. And no additional docs r requested since then. Ive been keeping track of it and was advised that the paper is up for board evaluation (on a specific date). And a decision will be given 3-4weeks after the board meeting. "All for His glory"

Yes im in the UK, been here since 2011 as a nurse but thinking of migrating to Australia

As far as I know before they allow filipino nurses with registration in the UK to apply for

Australia under the permanent resident route. That was my original plan, apply for pr then just do bridging or register

in APHRA after getting the pr but seems like I have to do ApHra first to qualify for the pr.

Anyone here who applied for PR after bridging course?

hi! thank God i found your post guys :) can i ask questions on how to process aphra application while i here in KSA?

@nuveao / @machaix --- as of the changes effective 22 Oct 2013, yung cert of good standing MUST be forwarded directly from the organization (saudi council) to Aphra state.

@akosieto---ok l******** nursing technician **** saudi? electronic copy thru email ** certificate of good standing ** saudi council *****.

No. you can apply for a PR visa even without AHPRA registration. thats what Ive done. I now have PR in Aus and planning when to do BP.

yes. before the changes, UK nurses almost automatically get registration in Aus straight away. Its not like that anymore, especially for Phil trainied nurses.

From the sound of it, you need to do more reading on this, just my 2 cents.

@Majai

Hi..are you taking the IRON now at MCIE?

yup. I replied to your PM

Hi everyone!!

Anyone here planning to enrol for the September intake at ACN,Sydney? í ½í¸Š

Hi everyone! I've been reading the tread since I dunno when just to get more info aside from browsing Ahpra website. Planning to take ielts before applying for Ahpra. I hope those who already finished their BP would still visit this forum to help newbies like me. Thanks ;)

Hello! At last I got my referral letter from APHRA to undergo bridging program. Anyways, I am subjected to have an interview with Lonsdale Institute of Melbourne, does anyone know any procedure about the interview? Can someone please give me a tip since I am dead nervous about it. It is mentioned on the email that they'll be asking for some nursing questions with regard to medications and etc. If there's someone there who could give me a tip, please PM me. Any tip would be greatly appreciated.

Hi, Can you share your experience with Lonsdale interview please?

Thank you!
