Good day everyone! I've been reading the posts here but I am still confused whether to apply for a police check first or process AHPRA first? I am not sure what to do first, is it the police check or AHPRA? Because I used to work in Jordan and Iraq as Staff Nurse. Hope someone can enlighten me.
Hi! You should apply for the police check first as fit2work will give you a reference number and you have to write this reference number in your AGOS form 😊 you dont need to wait for the result as this will be forewarded to AHPRA already.
Dear all, I am very happy to tell you all that i got my final assessment result from AHPRA and according to that mail I am eligible for registration, only i need to provide them proof of identity. Thanks God, it has been a long struggle but finally i got my registration. Could anyone help me what step I need to follow next. Moreover am i eligible to apply for sponsorship. Thanks....
Hello! I am new in the AHPRA application process and I am currently preparing my documents. For all documents which are to be certified, do we also need to sign all pages of the documents because there is a line in the guidelines that state that the notary public must "witness the signature of the applicant". Thank you in advance.

I don't think so. From what I have read, the notarizing authority has to indicate his initials on each page and then on the last page, write that he/ she have sighted the original documents and have witnessed you sign the copies.

Thank you very much!
Have you lodged you lodged you application already? Sorry, I was not yet able to backtrack all conversations.
Hi, where did you lodge your application?cheers!hi mates! i just want to share my experience as i know it would be beneficial for us filo nurses. lodge my application last march 11 & received an email just this morning that they are currently reviewing my credentials & be given to the national board. i was a bit flabbergasted & thought perhaps they are now really expediting their process this year, trying to hit the 3-4weeks processing time :) i am just wondering whether i could now push thru with the vaccinations. thank you guys
Hi, may I ask where you lodged your application? Thanks.I think you just have to follow what ahpra told you... you are lucky they didn't require you to submit those because as per experience it was not easy to secure those documents but still it wont satisfy criteria 2, 3 and 8. Maybe they are no longer requiring that because just last year their research found out that all filipino trained nurses will not meet criteria 2, 3 and 8 because our education standards do not match that of with Australia Especially in the accreditation part. And so most likely filipino nurses will be referred to bp given that they will satisfy the other criteria and be assessed as AQF 7. anyway i got my bp referral eventhough i was not able to satisfy criteria 2, 3 and 8... dont worry much, you will have your loe too... just never cease praying...God bless...
