@elmutero hi! I'm also taking the BP at ACN this July. Did you find any accommodation yet? I'm also in search for one.
Hi pongpong30!!
Im planning to enrol at ACN's September intake. I haven't decided on any accommodations yet, because the ones I've searched are quite expensive. 😠Try looking at some at this site.. HOME | Student Stay Australia
Hi everyone. I would like to ask if anyone of you who have worked or are working in the Middle East were able to secure notarization of documents by notary public in the Philippines? I am pertaining to certificates from Middle East. I am still employed as a nurse here in ME, and would it be possible if I sent back my ME certificates in the Philippines to get notarized. Is it ok to Aphra to do like that? The reason is that it is too costly for notarization here:(. Im sorry to have many queries. Thank you in advance.
Hi @Zoie! I too faced the same dilemma last year. However, I did all my notarization in the Philippines during my vacation. In case AHPRA asks me how it's possible, I can justify that I went for vacation with the immigration stamps in my passport as proofs. Luckily, they didn't inquire anything about the matter. I'm living in the UAE, so I know how costly notarizations are.
Hi @uktoaussie? I am planning to apply for PR too. You said there were changes in the policy. Can you please tell the changes? Just want to share an email sent to me from ANMAC for full skills assessment:
One of the principles of skilled migration, is that the applicant is able to work in Australia upon arrival. Due to changes to the assessment framework by the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia in February 2014, not all internationally qualified nurses and midwives will be eligible for registration in Australia without undertaking further study. With this in mind, ANMAC may request from applicant information regarding their eligibility to register in Australia in order to complete the skills assessment. You may wish to undertake the registration assessment in Australia to determine your eligibility to work upon arrival here.
hi! it justt means that we have to do ahpra registration first. we can still qualify for the pr but we have to be registred in ahpra.
Its either we take the bridging course or obtain a degree here in the uk so that it will be equivalent to australian qualification. Unfortunately philippine degree most often doesnt equal to australian degree.
