Meeting AHPRA requirements as a International Trained Nurse from the Philippines

Published

Hi guys,

Anyone here living in england?

I'm also waiting for the eligibility from AHPRA until they sent me an email and a letter about the new model and that I need to send them the docs blah blah blah. This made me sign up here in allnurses so I can join the conversation and be informed about this super confusing new model. I was enlightened by the conversations here. Thanks.

Im just wondering, has anyone been successful in completing the criterion 3. Especially for those whose school was accredited by PACUCOA.

hey spawn, Im currently waiting for UniSa's reply with my applciation. I talked with UniSa's representative thru education fair here in Manila, and told me plenty of good points with their program. I also have friends who graduated from UniSa and immidiately found a job.

Oh ok.. No, I am independently applying in AHPRA. Is she with an agency. I don't know if you have heard about Healthcare Elite. It's a recruitment agency where my friends and I are in contact with. They offer a lot of benefits for their applicants and they always update us about the different vacancies their partner hospital in Australia have. Anyways, how is her application going?

I will be going to Melbourne first and she will only submit her requirements if I will be able to find a sponsor there

Need help, I have lodged my application last december 11,2013 before the recent assessment model was implemented. I am currently complying with IQNM 2,3 and 8.

however, from my CV i was only able to submit a two year work experience (paid and volunteer) because of the september zamboanga seige i was not able to acquire my COE as a school nurse until recently. Because of the 3 years work experience, I need to Update my CV to meet aphra requirements.

has anyone tried to do this? If so, what docs should i send? The new agos form etc?

Thank you so much for the help.
