I have started a thread in the Immigration for Immigration requirements for Australia/New Zealand
It's great to hear feedback from the ones who have already finished their BPs. Are you already registered with AHPRA? If you are, how long did it take? Thanks!
It took 5 working days for me and my 2 classmates. 1 of my classmate has her AHPRA registration at Queensland. For me and my classmate it was At Victoria. We studied at Lonsdale Victoria. All i can say, registration outcomes depends on your case officer. I thought my officer was pretty strict and I predicted that I would get my registration after 2 weeks...but that wasn't the case at the end.
One suggestion also is to have CONSTANT communication with your officer. it is important when you recieve your eligibility letter and to let your officer KNOW that you will take Bridging Program. Inform the officer which school you will attend. Inform the officer when you arrive in AUstralia. Inform your officer the day you started your BP. Inform your officer that you are about to finish BP and the documents you have gathered for the proof of identity points. Inform your officer that you have finished BP. Inform your officer that you will submit your proof of identity requirements.
Hopefully, with this constant update with your officer, it might get faster. But I doubt it coz everyone has different outcomes.

Thank you so much.. :) i am just asking about it because currently i am working here in saudi arabia and my contract will due nexr year august 2014, i am thinking if there will be another intake for the CON after july, when i am on vacation maybe that will be the time i'll fix my visa and everything...
You will have to do what others are too afraid to tell you to save face,, you will have to return home and apply for sponsored work from there, Apply for the skilled visa - need ANMAC assessment first and 3 years experience at home.\Or do what many are doing, what for? costs stacks of money and I cannot see how this changes things and immigration was supposed to stop giving visas, for study straight after another.....apply to do another course, so that you can remain in Australia.
You can apply for a tourist visa and revisit for up to 3 months on and off, to try and get work which to me makes far more sense as it would be cheaper to pay for airfares than other courses to do, which you must attend and do assessments and takes away time from job hunting.
