Good day!just received my letter from ahpra..what's the next step guys? should i start looking for a school now?
also, my address in the letter was misspelled, is it okay or should i ask for another letter?
thanks!
email your case officer as early as now because you might have discrepancy sooner if you will file for your registration after the bp..
hi everyone! i posted these questions in another forum few days ago but weren't answered.. seems like the forumers there weren't active anymore..
hope you could enlighten me..
1. How long is the validity of the eligibility letter from APHRA once you received it? I've learned that the waiting time for APHRA to release the EL is usually more than 3months. Im planning to send my docs now to aphra but im concerned that the EL might expire early.. (Also, is IELTS a requirement in APHRA? Or I can file my application now while waiting for my ielts result?)
2. I would like to verify my understanding about the multiple entry visa 456.. once I am granted with the said visa, after 3 months of BP I will return to my home land and then I can go back to Aus again as long as I want (can stay in Aus for a period of 3 months again) within 1 year? All I have to do is buy a ticket plane and that's it?
3. Are they strict with granting a multiple entry visa 456? Ive read from a forum that some were denied with multiple entry after an interview.. Asking about the "purpose" of requesting for multiple entry visa.. What could be the best response to this? I might say something wrong that would give me a "no further stay" visa..
4. Can you enlighten me with the police check, working with children's check, nsg. calculation reference, opening a bank account once I arrive in Australia? What are these for? I don't know if I also have to accomplish these things.. Thanks..
I'm inspired by all of you who were able to acquire Aus. nsg. registration on your own.. Patiently reading, asking and helping one another.. Now, it's my time.. Hope to do it properly too! TIA

I dont know why my post did not appear.
I am answering based on my own knowledge and experience. Others might have.different answers.
1. Validity of Eligibility letter is one year. Ielts needed for your papers to be assessed by ahpra.
2. That's how I understand 456 multiple entry but right now, 456 is no longer available. Instead its subclass 600 and i dont know if its just the same with 456.
3. No interview was done for 456. You just have to.fill up the application form. As long as your purpose is genuine, there should be no problem.
4.police check is done online. I wad given instructions by the school on how to go about it. I dont know about nursing calculation references and yes we were requird to open a bank account, maybe for identification?
Oh yes i send that thick like a morificecript to ahpra actually it was my mom who requested everything i just gave instructions to her, since i was far away that time and you will request that in the registrar's office, all schools have that just give them the details on how you specifically want the documents.I hope this helps because I also did the same. All the best.
thank you noveau! how long did u wait for your eligibility from aphra? i am already having doubts to pursuing it because of the number of applicants these days.

Hi there, I suggest you immediately scout for schools check for them at the AHPRA website...and ask AHPRA about the address...not sure if it's a big concern but it's better to be sure more than anything else :)
