  1. hi @dinnomac I'm from the Philippines too and under the same agency. However it is I who is sending all my papers directly to the nmc. im just awaiting nmc decision letter.
  2. Good day everyone! I have just received a letter from the NMC that the following items are still outstanding on my application for Overseas Decision: OS Full Ref. (OS1) OS Full Reg. Ref. Form (OS2) OS Full Reg. App Form OS Reg Verif Form OS Form to accompany Transcript of Training I believe I have sent all of these forms to them. This is frustrating... Anyone experiencing the same situation? I will try to email them about this and inform my agency. Guys, I've read that most of you will be sponsored by an employer in doing the ONP. How did you do that? Until now, no one will sponsor my ONP fees and I need assistance badly.
  3. ironmom26 thanks for the info regarding the notary public near POEA 10php/page.. may I ask where exactly is that? or may I know the name of the attny.? I will go to POEA tomorrow and hopefully see that establishment.. Thank you :)
  4. thanks for the swift reply @jems :) i thought docs that came from the school must then be certified by the school. Now i am enlightened. i'll consider that.. i actually thought of that but was not sure.. p.s. the fee for the CTC c/o school registrar is only 20php per page. ive read that notary from a lawyer costs 100php/page.aw
  5. hi guys! i went to my school yesterday to certify as true copy my course description and other school docs but the in-charge at the registrar told me that they only stamp (certified true copy), sign, and seal each page. But i read in the previous pages that it should be this way: ***Be initialled on every page by the Authorised Officer. Annotated on the last page as appropriate e.g. “I have sighted the original document and certify this to be a true copy of the original” and signed by the Authorised Officer. List the name, date of certification, and contact phone number and position number (if relevant) and have the stamp or seal of the Authorised Officer (if relevant) applied. I asked the registrar officer if she can place this on the last page of every document but she refused. All that she can do is stamp and sign.. and seal.. but she won't place the printed name, date and contact number of the authorized officer.. will Australian Uni return my documents if were not CTC this way?hayyy.. then the registrar officer told me she will stamp, sign and seal each pages of my docs and provide an envelope from the school then enclose all the documents inside.. seal it then she will sign the envelope to certify (as a whole) that all docs were sighted by the school registrar.. is this okay?

    ETEA Bridging Program

oh my! thanks a lot @annie_v2g i don't know why i did not see your reply yesterday.. i even posted these questions in another thread.. (thinking that nobody saw my post hehe) and you also replied there.. so, thank you :) Im planning to lodge my papers in APHRA QLD.. like what you did :) and will be glad if I can do my bridging program in Brisbane, QLD too.. I am currently searching for a college or school offering BP in brisbane but I can't find one on the latest list of accredited schools/uni offering the BP.. my Aunt in QLD told me that the nearest Uni from her house (where I could stay) is QUT.. but if im right this Uni does not offer the BP but a bachelor degree in nursing for 3 years.. aw.. really helpful insights especially regarding the visa! thanks for updating me that the 456 is no longer available.. and that I could apply for visa 600 which is almost the same as 456.. :)
  10. hi everyone! i posted these questions in another forum few days ago but weren't answered.. seems like the forumers there weren't active anymore.. hope you could enlighten me.. 1. How long is the validity of the eligibility letter from APHRA once you received it? I've learned that the waiting time for APHRA to release the EL is usually more than 3months. Im planning to send my docs now to aphra but im concerned that the EL might expire early.. (Also, is IELTS a requirement in APHRA? Or I can file my application now while waiting for my ielts result?) 2. I would like to verify my understanding about the multiple entry visa 456.. once I am granted with the said visa, after 3 months of BP I will return to my home land and then I can go back to Aus again as long as I want (can stay in Aus for a period of 3 months again) within 1 year? All I have to do is buy a ticket plane and that's it? 3. Are they strict with granting a multiple entry visa 456? Ive read from a forum that some were denied with multiple entry after an interview.. Asking about the "purpose" of requesting for multiple entry visa.. What could be the best response to this? I might say something wrong that would give me a "no further stay" visa.. 4. Can you enlighten me with the police check, working with children's check, nsg. calculation reference, opening a bank account once I arrive in Australia? What are these for? I don't know if I also have to accomplish these things.. Thanks.. I'm inspired by all of you who were able to acquire Aus. nsg. registration on your own.. Patiently reading, asking and helping one another.. Now, it's my time.. Hope to do it properly too! TIA

@annie_v2g, hi! I came across your thread and I find it really informative and motivating! But I have some questions... hope you could enlighten me.. Irish Nursing Registration

Hi @mariam how's your Irish nursing registration? I would like to start my application.. How much will be the total cost for the registration?
  13. Hi! I have read the Citizenship and Immigration Canada (CIC) website and i am interested about the Federal Skilled Worker(FSW) class for permanent residence. BTW, I am a BSN-RN Nurse in a foreign country currently taking up a Masteral Class (Master of Science in Nursing Major in Med-Surg) at the same time working as a trainee nurse in a tertiary hospital. I am torn between pursuing registration in Australia vs. Canada. I am weighing out things with regards to financial matters, time and the processes to be done. I am aware that in Australia, I could take a bridging program (3mos.) to become an Aus, RN. However, it will cost me about 10k $ Aus for the BP. On the other hand, i have read that to become a RN in Canada, I must be able to pass the CRNE (exam like the NCLEX but i don't how much it would cost me plus the other details about it). And to apply for FSW, I must pass the IELTS and have atleast one year of continuous full-time paid work experience. There are few threads talking about this path and so I started this thread. Hope you could make it clearer to me on how i can apply and work as a Nurse in Canada. (For those who have successfully done the process even without an agency please shed light on this matter) Kindly respond Thank you Ezela

    Pinoy care visa center

Awhile ago, a classmate of mine endorsed this Pinoycare firm to me exactly how this thread is saying. Good thing allnurses.com is here to help me decide which way to go. I guess, I better do it on my own. I just have to read, ask, wait until june, and inquire directly to the embassy. God bless everyone!
  15. Hi everyone! I read the Midwifery-Law.pdf from PRC. It says that a registered nurse can challenge the midwifery exam and be a RN-midwife without taking a course in a school. What a RN must only do is to complete 20 deliveries handled, 5 sutures and 5 IV injections then submit it to PRC and challenge the midwifery exam. However, (i'm not certain regarding this) some says, this year 2010 this law was changed. Everyone (including RNs) must take a 2-year course in a midwifery school for them to be able to challenge the midwifery exam. I am confused. What is the real deal this year 2010 regarding this? Kindly help.:redbeathe BIG THANKS! God bless you guys! i have downloaded the PRC Case Completion Form for Midwifery Exams from this site: 17281548 PRC Case Completion Form for Midwifery Exams
