I just received an email from ahpra confirming my registration as RN div 1. God is so good!

hello.. for those who are already in their bridging program, did you guys passed through a pre-departure orientation seminar? is it really a requirement before flying?

I did mine last May 2012, no pre-departure way back :)

What is the type of visa needed for Deakin University's IRON Program?

i think it would be student visa since they are cricos provider..then again, i think it was mentioned in their offer letter that get whatever visa you might get, so long as you arrive in australia on the starting date of the intake. double check with deakins. but if your under idp....definitely student visa.

Thanks. Im just so.. So happy coz i didn't have to wait that long.. I was quiet furious because they say that ETEA studs don't get their registration as fast as others do.. Got mine in 10 days! (Counting the days including holy week and weekends)

I am thinking of the same thing. I want to send my case officer an email to ask for an update. Would that be appropriate? So, did you do it?

Are you also for Deakin's May 2013 intake? I emailed Deakin that I was planning to apply for the Visitor Visa (Subclass 600) but they advised me to apply for a student visa instead. Would you be interested in helping each other out (like exchanging information regarding the applications) so we can process our visa applications and the like more smoothly? If yes, you may PM me your email address. (I still can't send private messages according to the PM i received from allnurses.)
