You apply to APHRA and all relevant information is on their website and they will make a decision based on what you have completed to whether a bridging program is required

Hi Mindful1, just for your information, the CV that AHPRA requires need to be signed as a True statement by both you and you employer, as required by AHPRA. When you send in your CV, just make an addendum on the last page that "the information provided in this CV is true and correct to my knowledge" and sign and date it. I hope this helps! I sent mine that way and there was no issue with AHPRA.
Hello patringrn, I am just interested to know what really happened that took so long for your visa to get through. I am in distress now as I am for the August Intake at Alpine Health Victoria, starting from August 13. I had applied for my Business Short Stay Visa on June 19, had my medicals July 4 in Dubai, received an email from my visa case officer on July 18 saying that my medical report has been referred to Australia for further processing. To date, I have not received any further email from my case officer. May I please ask how long after your medicals you received your visa? Did they tell you any reason for the late visa? I am bundle of nerves now...any advice on this will be highly appreciated. Thanks in advance.
July 5 I was told that my medicals were forwarded to Australia... and was told to wait for my visa. I got my visa via courier last july 23... that's how long it took before I got my visa. and the deadline of the school is july 20. so I was not able to make it.. you would know if there are problems with your medicals if the facility would ask you to repeat some of the tests. if you were not asked to repeat then your results are okay..
hi @teabag24! we are on the same boat. i also just downloaded the application from ahpra. i am really confused of the next step to take.i have busied myself with reading all the threads about this. all the information is starting to give me a headache. I don't know where to start! I also hope more posts will come containing updated step-by-step process.
Go on with your plan of personally applying for it. i have read in some threads here that as much as possible, we must eliminate the middlemen. such may increase the already big expenses for the process. also, is very possible for us to fill-up the forms ourselves.
I am Filipino too! I recently graduated. i hope to work in Australia since it is my dream country. In fact, it may seen quite ambitious but i want to be able to go there as soon as possible. lol!

i'm going to visit my previous employer next week and ask them to revise the sos they gave me to comply with the ahpra requirement. i have questions regarding this instruction from ahpra:

questions: how is this properly stated on the sos? do they have to compute the total no. of hours i've served and write it on the sos? or is it acceptable to just let them write: "full-time staff registered nurse" (without the hours). thank you!
