I applied to all of them and got an offer at Mount Vernon. I believe most of the Inova hospitals still have a few New Grad Fellow positions.

Hey everyone! I am part of the March 2021 CSVICU cohort! wondering if anyone else is starting on any unit in march....having trouble scheduling an NCLEX date because everywhere withing 120 miles is booked LOL

I'm actually not from DC as well (from NY) and got a position for a New Grad Fellow/Residency at Inova (basically a hospital system right across the river from DC) and the pay is slightly higher at 32/hr. It's a great hospital system, maybe you might want to try applying there also. Apartments in that Northern Virginia area/DC suburbs are a little cheaper and taxes are lower in Virginia. Definitely still expensive though. Might want to look for a Studio. 

Oh I didn’t know INOVA paid $32 an hour! When I looked at a document online it said $27

Oh wait. I just realized this is for Medstar Hospital Center. I got a position at Medstar Georgetown University hospital ! My apologies

Hey, I have an interview next week for the OR residency. How was your interview? Were there any difficult situational questions or was the interview straight forward? Also, I see that you have started the program. Are you enjoying it thus far? Sorry for all the questions!
