Questions were straightforward like "tell me about yourself", "how familiar are you with the O.R.?", "Why the OR?", "What made you chose nursing?", "Did you have any clinical experiences in the OR?". I don't remember them asking situational or behavioral questions. They did ask about my background and how my experience in nursing school was like especially my job as a nursing peer mentor.
Other than that, it was great and went by surprisingly quick. I'm sure you'll do fine and they were nice. Good Luck!
Thank you for the quick response! I hope you are enjoying the position you chose. I also see in my email that it’ll be a virtual interview but without a link for zoom, webex, etc. You really helped to curb my anxiety & I’ll continue to prepare. Cheers from FL!

Good luck! Is it for the July start date? I interviewed and accepted an Offer on one of the icus. I’m not sure if all interviews are the same but there were more behavioral questions than anything! It was good. Base pay is 30.69 and night is $35.50 with I think an extra $5 for weekends!

Hey, thank you! Yes for July start date. I work NOCs as an LVN now, so hoping to stay on NOC shift. That is helpful info on pay, bit less than CA offer for step-down, but def want to make a move haha.. Congrats on your offer, best of luck to you. I had trouble picking between ED and ICU as my first choice.

So again not sure if this is for the whole hospital but for my unit you have to do 3 weeks of days and 3 weeks of nights and rotate

Hey, that's awesome! Congrats! Glad I could help. Hope you like DC. IDK if you are getting an apartment, but there are so many rent specials everywhere. Take advantage of them. I certainly did

I’m preferably looking for furnished apartments. Know any by chance that won’t break the bank?
Hey everyone! I have a quick question. If I was offered a position at Medstar Washington Hospital Center, would I still be able to go on an interview for another Medstar Hospital location in Washington, D.C.? Both Medstar hospitals are located in Washington, D.C. However, I know that if you accept a job offer, it may disqualify you from going on additional interviews within the same facility.
