Hey ! I know im super early to make this thread for the MDE program at Columbia for the 2021 start year ? but I was wondering if there are any future nurses out there as eager as me to get started !!

Maybe each applicant is assigned a unique link?

I noticed that in the Upload Materials section, it says they only received the First Essay, Second Essay, and Resume. I uploaded all of my other documents like my addendum, optional essay, and certificates to the actual application, so I'm not sure if it's supposed to show up here or not. Is anyone experiencing the same thing?
Mine looks like yours.

There’s a second email in early January for you to upload any grades for the fall semester and decisions come out late January/ early February. Last year decisions were sent out on January 29th.
Checking in, keep thinking of you, we’re you able to submit your financial aid application?
Yes I was. I actually emailed them and they just opened the application for me.

Yeah mine looks the same way and I also uploaded those other materials too. I guess they only show the required documents.
I submitted today, made sure everything was submitted besides two recommendation that have yet to be put in. However, I received an email that read:
Columbia Nursing Application Missing Items
Dear
Thank you for applying to Columbia University School of Nursing. Please note that at this time your application is missing at least one item. Please log into your application and view what item(s) is missing and ensure your candidacy for this year's cohort.
Thank you again for your interest in Columbia University School of Nursing.
I this because I'm missing application items or recommendations?

It won't show up there as they weren't "requested" documents per see, more so additional/optional. Hope this makes sense & helps ease your worries. It will show on their end tho ?

I had this issue earlier today and I kept refreshing the page every half an hour or so and it eventually showed up. I also would try looking for the reminder email referencing the financial aid application they sent us. The subject of the email was "Reminder: Columbia Nursing Financial Aid Scholarship Instructions" There was a link there to the application.
I'd still email them even if it's late - it will show them that you were trying and didn't just forget or didn't want to submit it and possibly (hopefully!) open up the application for you.

it might be because of the missing letters of recommendations. You can email the admissions and let them know that you're still waiting on the recommenders but already submitted the application, either way they can see the application submitted on their side.

Thanks! I just emailed them. I'm pretty sure the recommendations are the reason. Anyone know when the recommendations have to be submitted by?
Hello everyone,
So I did a little research about the recently graduated cohort. I added some of them on LinkedIn, about 80% had some type of volunteer/research experience on their resume. I would suggest highlighting this in your resume. Also, I highly recommend creating a LinkedIn if you don't have one. CUSON is very active on that platform.
Good luck everyone! I hope we all get to be classmates together.
