Hey ! I know im super early to make this thread for the MDE program at Columbia for the 2021 start year ? but I was wondering if there are any future nurses out there as eager as me to get started !!

Did anyone apply to the Honor Program?

recommenders were an old professor, my clinical lab professor who is a doctor, and a supervisor for medical records internship that I did. 

I have a Bachelors in patient information management,

I have both clinical and administrative experience in the medical field

Im certified in both Phlebotomy and Patient Care Technician, And have my first aid and CPR certificate and gave some free CPR lessons to the community

I have also interned at clinics as a phlebotomist and interned at a medical records department at the hospital. So I basically have healthcare background 

Overall GPA is a 3.25

I wanted to but I don't believe I met the GPA requirement. 

Does anyone know if they will take into account that you should be finished with most prerequisites by mid-Feb but haven't finished much as of now? On the application I did mention I am in classes full-time now. 

Does anyone know anything about the Honors scholarship? How many people receive it? How much it is far? 

phew! just submitted my application! I am just now worried about the Financial aid application, it's not showing up for me ?? is anyone else having issues accessing it?

I literally had this problem last night and I was freaking out! But I know have access to it so maybe it just takes a few hours to refresh!

current undergrad GPA: 3.11 ? (but hopefully I can bump that up to a 3.2/3.3) adfkjadlfjd 

Before COVID broke out I was doing research but that's been postponed indefinitely... ?

I have experience working as a CNA for a few months right before I started college

I've had quite a bit of volunteer experience so hopefully that works in my favor

Yes everyone! Thanks for the replies! I hope we all get in honestly. This process is really nerve racking. This video really helped ease my nerves before I took my video and timed essay last night. You all should watch:
