MDE Columbia University 2021

Published

Hey ! I know im super early to make this thread for the MDE program at Columbia for the 2021 start year ? but I was wondering if there are any future nurses out there as eager as me to get started !!

I cannot access the financial aid application either after I submitted my MDE application last night. Has anyone had any luck starting the application after submission?

I couldn’t either and I submitted my application this morning.  I kept refreshing the page every half hour or so. I’m able to see the application now and working on completing it as we speak.

Do we get any kind of notification from now to decision day?

I submitted my application back in August/Sept and I have just received a follow-up email a week ago that my application is forwarded to the Faculty Admissions Committee.

Yes, once your application has passed the initial review you will get an email to notify you that your application was forwarded to the admissions committee. There’s a second email in early January for you to upload any grades for the fall semester and decisions come out late January/ early February. Last year decisions were sent out on January 29th.

Checking in, keep thinking of you, we’re you able to submit your financial aid application?

I’m kind of confused about what needs to be submitted for financial aid. Is it just the financial aid scholarship application by tonight and then the FAFSA by dec.15?

Hi! Do you remember when they notified you about the decisions last year? I'm really anxious waiting to hear back from them

Yes, those are the two components you need to complete for financial aid
