MDC Nursing Spring 2017

Published

Hi,

I just took the Hesi entrance exam last week and I am about to apply to Miami Dade College for the Spring 2017 generic full time program. The deadline is September 1 so I am sure there are more than a few people that have applied or are getting ready to apply. I have not seen a forum as yet for spring 2017. I would like to hear from people who are applying for spring 2017.

I'm actually starting to feel quite anxious. Mid October is only a few weeks away!!!!

Super nervous to find out. Only about 4 or 5 weeks away!!!

Hello,

I applied for generic full time. I got a 70% in Hesi and 4.0 gpa. I'm very nervous. I don't know if I can got in with that score. Any advise!!

Hello everyone. I also applied for the generic full time for the Spring 2017. I am dying to know whether i got accepted or not. Crossing my fingers i get accepted at the medical campus. I actually took the Hesi two times. Got and 84 the first time and a 91 the second time.

We should all know if we are accepted in just about 3 weeks! Not too long now! Fingers crossed we all get in.

I was told we will receive emails between mid October to mid November.

Once someone gets an email please lets us know!

Do you know how the classes are laid out? (e.g. Monday-Friday, weekends, time)

So nervous to find out if I got accepted. Only a few more weeks :nailbiting: Good luck to everyone!

And I wonder how the schedule is as well. I've heard its Monday-Friday but not sure of the time..

Hello everyone I completely understand the anxiety you are feeling right now, because not so long ago I was in the same boat. I am currently almost half way in my first semester at the homestead campus all I can say is to be as positive as you can and honestly your hesi sores and gpas look pretty good so I think you have a very good chance of acceptance. I got accepted into the program my very first time of applying with a hesi score of 83 or so and a science gpa of 3.9. Be encouraged know that you have done your best you have put in the work and effort required and it will work out:) just being on a forum sharing your experience and being so anxious shows how bad and how serious you want this so just believe it will all work out:) good luck to everyone and if you have any questions I'll be glad to help

Thanks for the encouragement Jennbunny. Could you share what the schedule is like? What days and times you have class? Thanks.

The schedule is pretty much like regular college classes you are given a list of classes to register for you look up the classes find available times that work with your other classes. I was able to schedule all my classes for Tuesday and Wednesday and I have clinicals on Friday. For the most part a lot of people I know have their classes the same way as long as they registered early and organized their schedule. Next semester we have clinicals twice a week so I know my schedule might change

Im applying for spring aswell. The councelor i spoke with said i would know anywhere between september and october and i still havent recieved anything. Anxiety is through the roof.
