MDC Nursing Spring 2017

Published

Hi,

I just took the Hesi entrance exam last week and I am about to apply to Miami Dade College for the Spring 2017 generic full time program. The deadline is September 1 so I am sure there are more than a few people that have applied or are getting ready to apply. I have not seen a forum as yet for spring 2017. I would like to hear from people who are applying for spring 2017.

Go to Evolve account and register for student access, it's free. Then your test comes up and gives class average for each section.

Hi :) I logged into my account and am able to see my test results, but can't find the class average.

*edit* nevermind, I found it!

Awesome!

I don't know if it's overall on the day I took the exam or the average so far.

The average scores for the class was

Math:76

Reading Comp:79

Grammar:76

Vocabulary:79

Chemistry:70

Biology:68

Anatomy:68

Your numbers are different than mine so I think it's just your class average. The average for my class was:

Math: 72

Reading comprehension: 75

Grammar: 73

Vocabulary: 76

Chemistry: 68

Biology: 65

Anatomy & Physiology: 66

Today is the last day to apply! And now the waiting game begins. The average today came out to 73% When I applied they told me November, I really hope they don't take too long.

When I submitted my application the advisor told me to start checking my email in mid October. Based on the threads from previous years, it seems that they start sending out acceptance emails around October 15th!

I think those scores are for the people that did it on the same day as you. The scores I am seeing are slightly different. I did the HESI at the end of July.

Math 75

Reading comp: 78

Grammar: 75

Vocab: 78

Chem: 71

Bio: 68

A & P: 67

Hey all, I took the HESI on the 29th of August and got 87% with a science GPA of 3.47. The average score of my class was 73%.

Congrats! 85 is an excellent Hesi score and your science GPA is great! Were there a lot of people doing the HESI when you took it yesterday?

Yes the room was pretty full and about 50% of them went down to apply so im assuming they passed! I am so anxious because now all i can do is wait and its killing me!!!

Hi everyone!

Who applied to the accelerated program for Spring 2017?

I also heard that acceptance emails will be sent between mid October to mid November. Good luck everyone!

So glad there is finally a thread started!!! Hi, I have applied for the transitional and full-time program at Miami Dade. Took the HESI exam in June 2016 with Cumulative score of 88.27%. Science GPS is 3.5. I have been at the school many times speaking with different advisors and emailing them like crazy. This program is everything to me and I am praying to get in. I have seen in the past that acceptance emails come out mid October so hopefully it's the same for us!! Best of luck to each of you.

Hi puppywubby. Welcome to the forum!! The waiting game is on and hopefully we all get into the program of our choice!

Hello,

Yesterday I spoke to one of the advisors and they told me 4 to 6 weeks so latest would be mid October. The waiting game begins! Best of luck to all of you!
