So I'm starting the post for Spring 2014. I'm currently waiting for my acceptance letter for fall term but just in case applying for spring is my back up plan.
So my GPA is 3.0 and my teas is 72 giving me a score around 73.
Since I didn't get a first round email for fall I'm thinking of retaking my teas test so if anyone is willing to study with me please let me know. Good luck to everyone applying for spring!!
@mo325, my prof says if you do not have the book you will not be able to take cpr class. Only at north campus they let you take the class without the book because somehow it doesn't show up when you register that you need the book, so until they fix that they will allow you to take. I took the class on north campus last Saturday .
Really, I was in that class, where where you sitting??!! I enjoyed that class by the way
Jla and Aa1216 I'm in your position as well. I applied to the three options as well. Unfortunately I haven't got an Acceptance email yet... I can't sleep anymore because this waiting is making me anxious. But thanks to people on this thread I have found support. We need to be faithful and hopefully soon enough we'll get that email.
Once your on that page it is the last option. Don't click on Miami Dade but go directly to the DCF background check
I'm still so confused of the DCF letter!
And when I called today, wasn't able to get anyone to clarify.
So the DCF letter is not just something you print out and turn in with your background check fingerprints?
I clicked Medical Campus on the link MDC provided, paid $50 something dollars, made an appointment, and had my fingerprints taken.
Do I now have to click the link that days DCF, pay again, make new appt., and get fingerprinted again????
Thanks!
I also signed up for the CPR class on Fri, Nov 9th. They told me the book was mandatory.
Just a quick question, if anyone can help me.
If you pay the $100 acceptance fee for the PT generic and then later get accepted to the FT generic. Do you have to pay another $100 or can they just transfer it?
Also, for all the exams like fingerprinting and stuff...do they ask you what program your in? Or can you just start doingg them without knowing what program you will get into.

I don't know about the transferring of the acceptance fee but what I can tell you is that they don't ask you which program you are going into when you go to do your fingerprints or health check up.

November 9th is a Saturday, I know because I signed up for that class myself just now. I'm sure you just made a typo now but verify with your paperwork cause you could have possibly signed up for the wrong day. :)
@Doingit yes that's what it seems we need to do. I had paid my $60 and done my appointment for Tuesday for my fingerprints. I went, got that done and was told nothing about DCF letter. I saw, after someone on here pointed it out, that it also said we need a CDF letter. So I had to go online, pay another $40 and made my appointment for this Friday. sucks
It seems we are up to ~ $500
$100 for accepting
$79 for the CPR/BLS class
$225 for the physical and titers
$58 for background check and fingerprints
$40 for DCF letter
*sigh* and I'm still missing the book for the CPR/BLS class, the scrubs and equipment, what else??? Sheesh
