MDC Nursing spring 2014

So I'm starting the post for Spring 2014. I'm currently waiting for my acceptance letter for fall term but just in case applying for spring is my back up plan.

So my GPA is 3.0 and my teas is 72 giving me a score around 73.

Since I didn't get a first round email for fall I'm thinking of retaking my teas test so if anyone is willing to study with me please let me know. Good luck to everyone applying for spring!!

Hmm, I went to the Medical Campus bookstore yesterday to buy that $100 Nursing Pack that we are going to need to get but the cashier and the manager both told me to come back in a week or so because the pack might not have all the things needed for the upcoming semester. He said he will receive a checklist sometime next week and fill the bags accordingly. Dunno if they were telling the truth or just being lazy. Guess it doesn't hurt to wait a bit...

I also went back for the DCF fingerprinting and the guy at the facility told me that yeah MDC wants both, so if you are going for the first time then make sure to buy both online then go get fingerprinted so you don't have to make two trips.

I'm so annoyed about this DCF background. More $ and its the same thing. Besides it said its for citrus house only. I have an appointment for Monday to get fingerprinted...do I need to get fingerprinted twice that day then ?

@JLa.....I'm noticing A LOT of people are declining AO and choosing generic full time so definitely don't lose faith! You will get in.

The clinical top is 30 the regular top is 27.50 and the bottoms are 20. I got one of each. I had a little sticker shock so i will wait until I buy another one. But I would only buy one more top.

A couple other things you need, bag of stuff 100.00, littman stethoscope 83.00, watch, blood pressure cuff 26.00. Pen light. Goggles.

Cookie2002 thats the page where we set up our background check. I was told we have to go on the fingerprint technology page to set up and pay for the DCF letter. I think I will have to call them in the morning, to figure this thing out
