MDC Nursing spring 2014

So I'm starting the post for Spring 2014. I'm currently waiting for my acceptance letter for fall term but just in case applying for spring is my back up plan.

So my GPA is 3.0 and my teas is 72 giving me a score around 73.

Since I didn't get a first round email for fall I'm thinking of retaking my teas test so if anyone is willing to study with me please let me know. Good luck to everyone applying for spring!!

I made the appointment online and paid the 58 dollars when I got there i gave him the receipt and showed him the paper i printed out with the 7 steps. He told me i need to go back online, click on dcf letter, and paid another 40dollars cause mdc wanted both

That's strange. I didn't get asked for anything additionally when I went today. Let me know if you guys find out anything.

Sigh, MDC changed the wording on the Generic PT - Admission Information - Miami Dade College website. I did my background check the day after I got my acceptance letter and I know it did not state anything about a DCF letter. It said something to the effect of "Click Medical Campus Students" but it doesn't say that now... awesome... so now I scheduled yet another appointment for the fingerprinting...

On the site it says dcf letter only for citrus health, and I didn't read it as a requirement on the website.

This makes no sense...The DCF one asked for the same information and fingerprints. What is the difference?

Booo...I'm confused. I'll call tomorrow and ask just to make sure we don't pay for unnecessary stuff.

Personally I wouldn't do any more than what they ask on the mdc website. If they decide that they want it after the fact, then I will take care of it.

Do I need to make an appointment to do the wellness check up at the locations the school gave us or do I just show up? Has anyone been there?

When I went they didn't ask me for anything at all, just checked me in and inmediately went to the back to take my fingerprints and I already received my email yesterday that it was ready and that I should pick it up at room 1355.

@miri33 they told me same thing at wellness center today, going to walgreens to do flu shot. They told me to come back Thursday for TB results

Hi :) Did you go to one of the locations the school gave us? Did you just show up or you had to set up an appt?

The only thing that has to be done by 10/31 is the deposit. The rest of the forms are to be turned in before or at the orientation. The woman I spoke with in the nursing department strongly suggested that I turn it all in before to avoid the craziness the day of.

Guys I went to mdc medical school office they told me both are required dcf letter and background.
