MDC Miami Dade College Nursing Fall 2021

It's never too early to start the discussion....

Anyone else preparing to apply to the Nursing program at MDC by May 1, for a Fall 2021 start date? Which tracks? TEAS test plans?

Congratulations to those getting your emails. If you haven’t received anything yet, don’t worry. Every single person who applies gets an emailed response. Unfortunately they are all different days. As far as getting your Complio done, just do your best to have everything in by the due date loaded into complio. Because we are still online, they have been lenient with Complio

I am confused I applied for pt and ft program I am missing intro to health care and computer they told me I has fine as long I was registered for the Summer ??‍♀️??‍♀️??‍♀️??‍♀️??‍♀️

If they told you it was okay you should be fine! MDC sends various rounds of acceptance emails, sometimes even a few weeks before the program starts.

I only see TEAS score above 80%

Is the deadline really on the 7th of may? That’s not much time at all

Hey guys!
I just wanted to see where I stand with my application. I registered for the FT 2021 program, I have a GPA of 3.3 and a science GPA of 3.2, my overall TEAS is a 85%. If you all don’t mind sharing your GPA and TEAS scores, I’d really appreciate it.

I received the email about an hour ago. I got in!! But now I’m a bit concerned because the email says we need to have everything done by May 7th, including Complio. From what I’ve read in previous forums the entire process can take weeks. Hopefully this was a mistake on MDC’s part.

That’s awesome! Congratulations! When did you submit your application?

Thank you!! I submitted my application late February after I took my TEAS. For reference, my stats are 4.0 overall and science GPA and my TEAS was 86.7

Perfect stats!

I have a 3.92 overall, 4.0 science, and 86.0 TEAS. No email yet, but I had a question for those who were accepted: were all of your prereqs done prior to this semester? I don't have my final official grades yet for Spring, as I still had several courses to complete this semester.

My pre-reqs were already done, but I’d say to check with an advisor in case. If the website let you apply that should mean you already have the requirements, but it doesn’t hurt to double check.

Oh sorry I didn’t really make sense: I meant were your prereqs done as of fall 2020? I finished all of mine this semester and I was able to apply as soon as the window opened, but maybe the first acceptance letters went to people that already had everything done?

I just finished speech and Intro to health this semester. I’m so nervous with my current TEAS scores and GPA.
