It's never too early to start the discussion....
Anyone else preparing to apply to the Nursing program at MDC by May 1, for a Fall 2021 start date? Which tracks? TEAS test plans?

You are not 'preselected' by MDC for anything. Preselect means you selected nursing as your potential major and you are doing the Associate of Science path rather than the Associate of Arts (which you would potentially transfer somewhere else).
You aren't offered any courses. You can see what the course times are for fall, though, just as you see every other semester ahead of time.

I guess I'm confused what your question is now. Everyone applies for the program-- it is a competitive entry which means all applicants have their numbers compared. You are not preselected to get entry into it.

I think once you declare nursing as your major, that “preselect nursing” is an indication for advisors to know what classes to tell you to take, think of it as your pathway. It doesn’t mean you’re waitlisted or even accepted. I have that as my major as well, although I just finished my AA degree.
What I am confused about is the fact that they’re sending out acceptance letters when their deadline is June 1st.
