  1. Do you guys know if MDC will be sending more acceptance letters this week? I have a friend still waiting for an answer.
  2. Hi! When it comes to Complio, what you need is the level II background screening, you can schedule it through the link in the Nursing Program Admission website and pay the $129. You don't need the level one college rotation screening from Complio. For the drug screening, you can do it through Complio or do it at any other lab. I did mine at Labcorp because it was covered by my insurance but I've heard that doing it through Complio is cheaper if your insurance doesn't cover drug testing.
  3. There's a link to the Nursing Program Admission website in your acceptance letter where they say Complio is due no later than June 30th.
  4. I completed all of my prereqs in fall 2020 as well, so most probably they started sending the letters to those people first.
  5. Thank you!! I submitted my application late February after I took my TEAS. For reference, my stats are 4.0 overall and science GPA and my TEAS was 86.7
  6. I received the email about an hour ago. I got in!! But now I’m a bit concerned because the email says we need to have everything done by May 7th, including Complio. From what I’ve read in previous forums the entire process can take weeks. Hopefully this was a mistake on MDC’s part.
  7. I bought the ATI Comprehensive package that has the practice tests, manual, and a study program included. It was very expensive, it was about $230 but I think it was worth it. Like @KaylaMonique said it was great practice because I knew what the test would be like and it helped me get familiar with the wording of the questions.
  8. Hi all, I took the TEAS yesterday and scored an 86.7%. I feel so relieved, I had a couple of technical difficulties while taking the exam through Proctorio. It was a nightmare for me, they logged me out twice while taking the exam for no apparent reason, but I'm glad it's all over.
  9. I'm not exactly sure, but for the Associate of Arts degree at MDC we have to take CGS or pass a test to meet the computer competency requirement. I believe since this course is a requirement for the AA, it will be counted as well as English, history, humanities, etc. HSC0003 is not a requirement to obtain a degree so I think that's why it doesn't count. But you can always email an advisor if you're still not sure.
  10. Awesome! I will email them in January to schedule my test. Thank you both so much!
  11. No problem!Wow, I can only imagine...Hope everyone has a speedy recovery ?
  12. That's the right link. You can see HSC003/0003L listed right below Microbiology. The HSC2400 class is to get your CPR card which we need for nursing school. You can choose to take the course somewhere else, it does not have to be with MDC. It's a matter of preference. But just make sure the card says American Heart Association.
  13. I just checked now and Intro to Health is still listed as a requirement for the ASN. I will be taking it this Spring, it's the only preq I'm missing.
  14. Hi all! I'm planning on applying to the generic full time option at MDC. I want to take my TEAS mid February since I'm only going to be taking HSC0003/lab. Does anyone know how soon can we schedule our exam? Their testing website seems to be a little outdated so I cannot find much information.
