MCdonalds in Hospital

What would you think if your local hospital had a Mcdonalds on the hospital grounds. Wouldnt it be even funnier if your hospital was one of the top 100 cardiovascular facilities in the country.

Of course the families and patients love it, but the dieticans hate it.............

IN the one place I work, our cafeteria is great. The other one, I would not feed their food to my kitty cat. I would welcome a Subway shop in there, however. Mickey D's is not my fave place to get food, really.

Krispy Kremes in our cafeteria. And with all the fattening crap on the menu.....they may as well have McD's. However, there is a subway in walking distance. As well as Popeye's fried chicken!!!

When I was in nursing school (stone age, I know!), we had an exchange with Ireland and Britain, where they had pubs in the hospital!!! Beer, anyone (or, should I say, pint anyone?)!

I remember those hospital pubs days, funny. Dont get many of those in the USA.

I just remembered something else (because, really, it was the stone age and my memory isn't that great) - there was a sign 'No food in theatre' (OR, in Americanese)!!!

One of Uncle's really BIG hospitals here has an entire food court, including McDonalds, Subway (or something similar), and many others, some on pushcarts or in kiosks. Like a big mall. It's really an excellent idea and keeps everyone in competition to provide decent (even if sometimes high fat) food. Nice to have all the choices as well, and a good place to just hang out.

Yes... Uncle Sam's Place.

My hospital is one of the leading heart centers in the country and there is a Pizza Hut in the cafeteria.
