MCC nursing applicants for 2015

Published

Hello everyone!

I've been obsessively reading over the threads for the 2013 and 2014 applicants, but I thought I'd see if anyone will be applying to the Nursing program at Macomb Community College for 2015. I am a transfer student from Texas and will be taking A&P this summer then intro to Nursing (since MCC requires that you take their specific course) and micro in the Fall. I'm so excited to get back into school and was wondering if anyone is following along the same timeline.

Haha that's you??? Well you were very nice. Maybe we will be in the program together!

Hey everyone,

Good job to everyone who has posted! I ended up doing a little worse than last year. Took the Hesi yesterday and got a 85.6. But last year I got a 86.0, but my test proctor said they will take the higher score which is good. I have nooo idea how I didn't do better than last time... But anyways this year I will be applying with a 3.92 GPA and 86.0 Hesi. Hope we all get in

Hi I'm resie, I ran out of time on my hesi, and didn't even complete my A&P section, my GPA is only 3.57, Hesi score was 85.5. I don't know if my App is eligible for ranking, fingers cross.

U should b fine you have this and last yr they rou ded our scores up to the next number if it wasn't even so if you have a 83.6 then you should get a even 84 they may had changed the rules tho ... Good luck u should make it

Seems as if the hesi is much harder than last year seriously nervous rite now ... I know I won't get any sleep tonight just want it to be over with I'm SCAREDDDDDD

Good luck everyone! I will be applying a with a 3.61 and 87.2% HESI. Hopefully we all make it in

You are right there with me, girl.

If there are any questions about the hesi, let me know! I know its very stressful, maybe I can ease someones anxiety :)

I'm still stressing about it. Anxiety at an all-time high. I did way worse than expected. I felt so unprepared, even though I felt like I studied enough. I feel okay because of my GPA, but I was still hoping for a little more security if that makes sense.

Where there any temperature conversions on test like celcius to faraheit any tips u can give will be extremely helpful

I didn't have any. Know m-ml (mostly metric to metric), tons of ratio, stuff like that.

I wish they would get rid of that hesi the amount of stress and anxiety it causes people isn't fair & shouldn't determine if we get in or not. Some people aren't good w/ standardized test. Best of luck to all & Congrats to those who passed I know everyone wants it just as bad as I do, keep up the good work.
