MCC nursing applicants for 2015

Published

Hello everyone!

I've been obsessively reading over the threads for the 2013 and 2014 applicants, but I thought I'd see if anyone will be applying to the Nursing program at Macomb Community College for 2015. I am a transfer student from Texas and will be taking A&P this summer then intro to Nursing (since MCC requires that you take their specific course) and micro in the Fall. I'm so excited to get back into school and was wondering if anyone is following along the same timeline.

I was following last year's thread and reading how nervous and excited everyone was. It is amazing how fast time flies and here we are ready to apply.

Yeah it's crazy how quickly this time has come. After viewing the older threads over and over. Everyone who posted their scores so far should get in. I'm so nervous for tomorrow. I haven't been able to study as much as I should have.

I am excited and nervous at the same time. Patience has never been my best quality so the waiting is going to kill me.

I have been reading the 2014 and 2013 thread also, compared to those years i feel like i should be able to make it in even if i am last! I believe that everyone else who has posted their scores have a spot without a doubt.

To those of you who still have to take their hesi this week (i know there's jan. 7th and jan 8th test dates), i wish you all luck! It wasn't as bad as i thought it was going to be, but i wish i had studied for more than a few days. I would have done much better if i had contributed more time towards it.

Those of you taking your hesi on Jan 8, make sure the school wont be closed that morning. They are saying wind chills will be -21

I hope they do not cancel on Thursday I am ready to get this over with!

I hope they don't cancel either but it would give more study time but then I think i may forget sum of the things I already studied lol its in Gods hands but that is prettttttty cold

Okay that was tough. I feel like it wasn't anything I studied. I will be applying with a 3.93 and hesi score of a disappointing 83.6.

Tough exam, got a 87.2%! Hopefully I will get in.

You have a high gpa so you should be okay. I have a 3.65 gpa and got an 84.4% on my hesi. Someone with my scores got in last year. You might be a later start, (like me if i get in), but better late than never! It's good to know that i'm not the only one who struggled with the hesi.

Jessica I was sitting right next to you :)

I was told (by the people who run the exam) that they round your hesi score. so 83.6 will be an 84. Every little bit helps, if they were right.
