MCC nursing applicants for 2015

Hello everyone!

I've been obsessively reading over the threads for the 2013 and 2014 applicants, but I thought I'd see if anyone will be applying to the Nursing program at Macomb Community College for 2015. I am a transfer student from Texas and will be taking A&P this summer then intro to Nursing (since MCC requires that you take their specific course) and micro in the Fall. I'm so excited to get back into school and was wondering if anyone is following along the same timeline.:up:

Does anyone know if I will have any fighting chance lol please make me feel better if you know any of the top ten alternatives g.p.a let me know please thanx :-) I'm so disappointed idk what my next move should b

Deanna you still have a very high chance and I say this because literally everyone ive talked to this year got around 80. My biggest concern was all the high gpas, but it seems like the hesi is very very low this year. Dont worry!

DeannaThomas I read the thread from last year and, if I remember correctly, one of the alternates had a HESI score of 84 and 3.6 gpa.... I believe they were one of the alternates on top. I think you have a chance!

Yeah, Deanna. I think you have a very good chance since you boosted your gpa! Now it's a waiting game. So where do we go to apply? Enrollment?

Hi everyone!

I just took my hesi yesterday. I scored an 86. The class average was an 81. My GPA is a 3.65. I'm really hoping to get in this year!

I know know two people who got in the 2014 program. They had a 3.57 and an 88 hesi score. The other was a 3.66 and a 86 hesi score.

Im curious to hear everyones averages!!

You can either mail your application in to them or turn it in to enrollment. I turned mine in to them in person just to be safe.

And yes the #2 alternate last year had a 3.6 and 84%. Those are my scores for this year so i am hoping for the best! I heard that the last accepted alternate last year was #14. Could have been a few more after that too.

My friend was ranked 140 and he had a GPA of 3.3 and a 90 HESI. hope that might put some insight on it. GOOD LUCK EVERYONE

Thanks! I wanted to turn it in personally for the same reasons. How do you check your HESI class average score??
