apparently, ive been waiting for other people to start a support group for may nclex takers.....but no....so here i am.....

im taking my nclex on the 7th of may...hopefully, i pass this time. im tired of living a non-RN life......

something to remember...

changes in shock and increased intracranial pressure

shock

remember http

h - hypotension

t - tachycardia

t - tachypnea

p - pallor

p - pulse pressure decreased

loc - decreased

increased intracranial pressure

opposite of shock

hypertension

bradycardia

bradypnea

pulse pressure increasing or widening

loc - decreased

HI GUYS!!!

so, this morning i took my test. i have a good feeling about it. hopefully this good feeling would reflect on the results. i think i had 86 items. 12 SATAs....5/6 drug calculations, 2 ecg interpretations and 1 other diagram i cant remember. hopefully these signs are good ones.

now, its the waiting that will eat me....since my brn is cali. nevertheless, i am blessed. :)

hey..you're done with test now. :)

reg. thyroid storm (or thyrotoxic crisis) it happens most commonly in client with hyperthyroidism. so the s/s would probably be exaggerated sx of hyperthyroidism.

in clients experiencing tetany (hypocalcemia) due to accidental manipulation of the parathyroid gland, the client will show s/s like: tingling, numbness, cramps (fingers, near mouth, extremities) stiffness in the hand and feet. chvostek's and trousseau's sign :)

Well I took my test yesterday I was really scared cuz my friend was there to and she only had 85 ques and i had 205, so I felt I screwed up but this morning the first thing I did was check The website and I am now a LPN. :bowingpur Good luck to everyone. Hey anyone know how to get a license in another state?:nurse:
