shoshana,
i replied to your earlier post (entitled "teas exam???????") with a website that has info about the teas exam as well as practice questions similar to those you might find on the teas exam.
quote:
"but i found this website with teas practice questions and it appears to be free review with material similar to what you would find on teas.

when you have resources like this available, it behooves you to check them out before writing multiple posts on the same thing. also, please allow time for people to answer your posts - in both of your posts, you have re-posted in about an hour saying something like, "anyone???" if you need information urgently, your school and/or instructors are probably the best source for your information. if teas is part of their curriculum, they should be able to provide you with the sort of information you are seeking.

Math is basic on the TEAS and you should remember stuff like how many inch in a foot, 1000mm=1m.. also know how to do fractions and reduce and % to dec. , the section I would be focusing on would be the Sci part of the test.. They have some odd questions about plants, clouds, tectonic plates, and frequency\voltage equations..
Yeah well I study something then forget it right after... I dropped out of school in 9th grade and Dont remember alot of the things that everyone is saying that will be on the test.. I got my GED and passed that..Idk Ill keep looking.
If you can pass your GED, then you can pass the TEAS. If you can't remember what you study then nursing may not be your cup of tea.
I'm taking the A2 for nursing school and I'm nervous. I haven't taken that sort of math since 8th grade! 9th grade was geometry, 10th was alg II/trig, 11th was pre-calc, and 12th was AP Calc. I haven't taken math since.
I can remember what I study but I have to study it for a while and i found out im taking the test 4 days before..
Well, good luck and let us know how it went.
Well everything seemed pretty easy accept for the science.. It was stuff I did from 5th to 9th grade and didnt remember at all.. I just hope I passed...
When did you take it
