UMMC Application Status

I applied for a position at UMMC a little while ago and I just checked the application status today and it said: In Interview Process. I didn't get any emails or calls from them. What does that mean?

I called HR again to see if I can speak with a recruiter. The man on the phone told me that recruiters do not take calls, she told me that the status on my application is a good sign, I just need to wait on a phone call or an email because it is all on the hiring managers and the recruiters time when they will schedule an email or give you a call.

Sounds promising! I know it's all a big waiting game but hopefully they'll contact you soon! I know they're swamped right now with new-grads and other things!

They finally called! Interview on Thursday! I was losing hope! While I was waiting, Sinai called me for an interview this week as well so I'll be at both and then I'll compare them and have a decision if they both offer the position!

I didnt get the PICU job so I have interviews for Shock trauma and OR later this week. Don't think I'll be starting out in peds quite yet.

Sorry you didn't get the PICU job It's totally okay. The beauty of nursing is that you can move around. Shock trauma and OR sound super interesting places though and you'll definitely get great experience in either.

Have you looked at Children's? They actually have posted a TON of PICU positions recently.

I applied there (children's) but the drive is just not feasible. But I'll go to the interview any way just to be sure.

Did you get an interview there?? Shelby is doing it haha but I feel like it may be worth it if you really love it!

I got a job at UMMC. Got the call today, after much waiting and start October 9th! So maybe you all will start then too if your interviews go well!

In the Nicu? Yay!!! And yea I saw. Shelby lives way closer than I do though lol. I applied to their 7E medical unit at children's too

Sorry about that. :-( Is it possible you can go to the interview in the OR and ST and possibly work there for 6 months and then do an internal transfer?

So I had the interview in Geropsych today and it went VERY well. The manager told me that I would make a good fit. He said he would get in contact with me before the day is over so I hope it's good news!
