UMMC Application Status

I applied for a position at UMMC a little while ago and I just checked the application status today and it said: In Interview Process. I didn't get any emails or calls from them. What does that mean?

Still job hunting?? Same. Getting close though to hearing back about some postions!

Yep. I'm glad I've held out a bit though cause I may have had to settle for a non pediatric position. Have you checked children's national for NICU?

I have applied to a few positions there but they didn't have anything posted for NICU. I've basically been applying to womens and childrens positions and also had an interview for a general surgical position at a hospital I really want to be at. I'll take anything really. The beauty of nursing is that you can move around!

I applied on August 10th. Last week it updated to in interview process but I haven't received any calls or emails. Wizardbri, have you contacted HR or the managers of the unit directly?

I found a number for HR Service center that 855-486-6747. I'm not sure who's on the other end lol, but hopefully it'll help you!

Thank you! I have called HR before to ask about my application status but I haven't asked to speak to a recruiter. Should I just ask for the nursing recruiter to find out about the application status?

Yes! Ask to speak to a nursing recruiter regarding an application you submitted and then explain the situation to them. They should be able to pull you up and your status. Recruiters are the middle man between you and the unit and they send applications to the unit to be reviewed. They should be able to help you! Best of luck!

I just gave a call but they had told me that the recruiters don't take incoming calls. I just need to keep checking my application status and look out for an email or phone call. í ½í¸ª

Update: recruiter contacted me. Shes apparently the recruiter for women's and children's positions. So they're working

I just spoke with one today too and they said that they have been slammed with new grads so I would just continue to be patient!!
