Maryland BSN hopefuls for Fall 2012

Anyone else preparing for fall 2012? I'm such a dork about this. I've been planning every single little step of this. :lol2: I'll be submitting my university application in October/November. I'm not worried about getting accepted to the University in general because I have a 3.8 right now, provided A&P2 and micro together don't kill me. Then I'll be sitting for the A2 by January (want to finish A&P2 first) and applying to the BSN program by January/February. Unfortunately the CC I'm in doesn't offer one of the pre-reqs for the university, but I can take that over next summer.

Anyone else with similar plans?

I see folks are posting over here. Yes, let the waiting games begin. I've been holding tight for a long time . I finished all my prerequisites last summer but had to wait for fall 2012 due to work commitments. I've been accepted to Old Dominion but have not committed to them yet. I really, really , really, want to go to UMSON. I hope we don't have to wait to long. GOOD LUCK!

Thanks!!! GL to you too!!! If the forums were any indicator of how many ppl actually applied for FALL 2012, this may be a good sign lol..but I know it isn't ..just started my last set of prereqs and it was bout 5 students in my class applying this semester I think..

So funny, I am sitting here thinking the same thing! If it's just US three or so, we are looking pretty spiffy right about now. Or on the other hand, they may say, "Ehhhhh, we have enough students, we don't need that SB chick no matter what!" :)

It should be by the second week of April, barring unforseen issues. Once decisions are made for both campuses, offers are made to everyone at the same time. As offers are accepted, slots are filled. As they are declined, offers are made to wait listed people. Here's hoping that those who decline do so promptly so their slot can be quickly given to someone else.

Does anyone else have the issue of being accepted to other programs and trying to reserve their spot there as a back up while waiting to hear from other programs? I am waiting on UMD, MU and GWU but have heard from some other programs already and they would like me to reserve my space within the next two weeks. Just looking for suggestions :) The 2nd week of April isn't too bad though!

I am foreseeing a similar problem..but I don't have any suggestions..sorry..I'm waiting to hear back from UMSON and HCC..I would love to do HCC as I would be able to continue working and I already have a Bachelors in another field..I'm trying to pay off..but with the waiting list at HCC..who knows when I will find out..I have until May to give a decision on SU

I am in the same situation. I'm paying my deposit with the knowledge that I will have to forfeit it if I am accepted to UMSON. I hope this helps.

Just out of curiosity, what school is SU? Is that in Maryland?
