aint sure if there is already an existing march 2011 test takers' support group. nonetheless, i ought to just create one.. study tips and advices, as well as encouragement, motivation, support, and prayers from each and everyone of us may play a big role in our preparation for this battle. let's all be rn's!! good luck to us!! may the good lord be with us all in our way to passing the nclex!! :cheers:

Ok so i am SUPER EXCITED FOR U ALL WHO PASSED NCLEX!!! I will be graduating in May 2011 and was thinking about reviewing now? ALSO i see some of u guys posted the that u did the "trick" "PVT" thing and it worked, what is that or what does that mean?? what trick or PVT are u talking about? ALSO, some of you keep mentioning "satas" what is that???

According to LaCharity, a nursing assistant WITH SPECIAL TRAINING can.

I answered a question from Lacharity on which action I can delegate to the nursing asst. but when I chose that option (which is check fingerstick glucose) twas wrong. :( I am so confuse!

yes, as long as the patient is in stable condition..

Perhaps it was the wording of the question? Under some circumstances, nursing assistants are allowed to carry out finger sticks, but it's the RN's responsibility to assess the results. So if the question asked if nursing assts could "check" blood glucose, maybe that meant "assess" it, which they can't do, even if they're allowed to do the actual finger stick.

I just took the NCLEX today and I thought it was TERRIBLE!!! I had 75 questions with 15 SATA...I did not feel confident at all when I walked out of the testing center. I just did the PVT and I got the "good" popup, so that kind of eases my mind but I won't get my hopes up until I see those official results!!!

Please pray that I passed!!!

thank you I hope so!!!! it's only been a little over an hour and the suspense is KILLING ME lol...I don't understand why we can't just get our results right then and there! my brother is a registered radiology tech and he had to take his boards through PV too and he knew instantly! (he passed, btw) It's not fair lol

yeah, in emt too, they will know right after the exam that they pass. maybe nclex is really special Lol.. anyways, don't think too much about it, i believe you passed already..

i took my exam last march 16 here at ca. and yet my name is still not on the site.. i got the good pop up though ...
