Living in New England. It's been warm, sunny -- the crocus are blooming -- have even seem some daffodils in bloom. WHY have we had on/off SNOW flurries since last night? I know there's no accumulation, but what's with the white stuff scattered here & there? I took my daughter out shopping this weekend (no coat needed) and she bought spring clothes -- (of course she's wearing her new flip-flops today in the cold -- ah, the wisdom of teenagers.) Supposed to be cold/blustery several days. I love winter/snow -- but what's up with this weather -- it's spring!? ! Please, don't write back from California and tell me it's 80 degrees, no humidity -- I will just cry. Seriously, starting a diet today AND waking up to flurries -- God must have a sense of humor. Wahhh.......

Um, ok, I live in midatlantic suburban MD. Beautiful weather, sun shining... not so humid...
Yesterday it snowed all day long. Serious snow, not a flurry here and there. I work near the front of the hospital... so the whole 10 hours I was at work yesterday I felt like I was inside a snowglobe that some azzhole wouldn't stop shaking.
Today is cold, again.

OK so it snowed unmercifully yesterday with an accumulation of 6" and today it sunny and going to be 32 F.
I can sympathize with you susanmary and delirium. What's that saying...March is in like a lamb and out like a lion or is it in like a lion and out like a lamb....anyway this weather in a word- sucks!!!

There is a special forum for "just conversation" on this BB.
(BTW, temps set new records in 6 local cities yesterday, 80s and 90s. Forecast is 3-4 degrees cooler today. Brrrrr.)

Yep, I can attest to the fact that it snowed in MD all day yesterday. It's abnormal.

Anybody else "gettin' old" and notice that when the barometric pressure drops the aches and pains rise? Whats the medical aetiology for that?
Chilly-willy here today too (57F)....sunny south.

It was so nice in Richmond on Saturday that my boyfriend and I bought and planted some flowers. Then it snowed all day yesterday. Crap! Guess we'll have to buy some new flowers now that are still alive!

We, too,had snow over night. Plus we still have over a foot on the ground in our yard - I'd love to see spring soon.
