hi all! omg i cant believe its already march. i'm starting to freak out again. i've been trying out ways to combat these nasty butterflies in my stomach, 'cuz they've arrived, and so far i haven't been successful. i'm just trying to find solutions on how focus my energies on the exam rather than on my nerves. my latest gimick--relaxation hypnosis--hahaha! i typed it up in google and found this free mp3 you can listen to (if you're like me and you're also freaking out). maybe it can help?!?

i tried it last night but i got so relaxed, i fell asleep, lol!

...when I read posts like, "I can't believe I spent all that time studying..the nclex was nothing like my study mat'ls" I start to wonder if I'm missing the forest for the trees by studying too much content in the saunders book. Then again, I can't know if knowing the mat'l solidly let's you think that...Hah!

HOW to take the test v. learning material seems to be the more esoteric skill, yes? Can't wait to get this over with on the 7th!!!

Iam taking the nclex next week tuesday, even though the closer i get to tuesday, the more i start thinking i should do more review, but then again, i graduated may last year and this is my first attempt. I just was not in a position to take it earlier due to too much stuff in my personal life. I have been using Kaplan QT, scores between 50-65%, also did the videos/dvds from ATI. I have also been using the saunders Q/A book with cd for the alternate item qtns. I think i will go for it and get it over with. Any input appreciated.

Though I havent as yet given the NCLEX...from various posts here I ould advise you to read the rationales for every Question you get wrong... and know Lab values, infection control, hypo/hyper's..growth and development and pharm/drugs...all the best to you in your studies

hi guys im slated to take the test on march 4 but i have lots of doubts. First of, my scores in kaplan are around 50-55% (the qtrainers). but my scores in the qbank are a lot higher actually.. around 60-75% i think it is because the questions are repeated all over again... anyway the thing is i really want to take the test but my mind says no you have to review and read again!!! i don't know i going crazy!!!! a big HELP!!!!!

The 'do not pass the buck' strategy is not working for me so far. I've encountered lots of questions wherein 'notify the physician' is the right answer...what the heck!?!?!

Oh yeah, I have a question. How do you check the CSF for glucose?
