It's not just a job, it's an adventure!!!

Courage doesn't always roar. Sometimes courage is the quiet voice at the end of the day saying, "I will try again tomorrow."

Let go or be dragged.

“Well, we all make mistakes, dear, so just put it behind you. We should regret our mistakes and learn from them, but never carry them forward into the future with us.”

L.M. Montgomery, Anne of Avonlea

Anne of Green Gables has tons of great quotes to lift your spirits and keep you going.

"The King will reply, 'Truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me.'" - Jesus

"Create in me a pure heart, O my God, and renew a tranquil conscience within me, O my Hope" is something find myself repeating mentally over and over again when I'm feeling stressed, frustrated, or just a little to frantic at work. It's part of a longer prayer, but just taking a deep breath and running that portion of it through my head a few times can give me the grounding to drop some physical tension and get my mental focus back.

If I'm really having a bad day my chant is more a mental litany of "Do not scream at the residents, do not scream at the residents"

Give a man a fish and he will eat for a day; teach a man to fish and he will eat for a lifetime; give a man religion and he will die praying for a fish. - Unknown

I usually take about 30 seconds to pause, exhale while saying "oooohhhhhmmmmm", focus on a positive aspect from God (kindness, love, peace, patience, mercy, etc.), then go about my merry little way.
