Hey Everyone,

Long time lurker here!

I made a promise to myself. The only way that I will ever make an Allnurses account, is when I apply to nursing school. Well, that time has finally arrived, and I just finished submitting my application to the City Colleges of Chicago School of Nursing. I clicked on that submit button like a boss!

Good luck to everyone who applied.

Did anyone receive their uniforms? I called & they still say 10-14 business days.

They shipped everything out last week. I received my uniform on the 26th.

Ok thanks. I got a call to come in today & pick them up. Just in time for class tomorrow.

Good Luck to you all. It sounds like most of you have gone through quite a bureaucratic ordeal.

the bright side is that someday you'll look back and say that nursing school was a breeze compared to what you went through just to get in. :D

Omg.....has anyone successfully opened a chapter of the corsepoint ebook? I dislike the site already!!!! Too much to go through.

Has anyone ordered Craven's ebook from lww.com? I order the ebook and PrepU access but haven't gotten the access code or the ebook. I signed in as a guest so there is no way to track it. I haven't even gotten the confirmation that I ordered it but they already charged my credit card. Does anybody know how long it takes to get the access code?

I had the same issue. I called the phone number and they sent it while I was on the phone, but they sent me Taylor instead of Craven, so double check. They need to do better....my classmate also did not receive anything.

I ordered the ebook/prepu access. I called the support number the next day and they set up my access over the phone. I called 800.638.3030. Make sure you have your order number and customer number.

I actually don't have either of those things.

When I placed my order, it went to a blank page. No confirmation page, invoice, order number or customer number. I know they charged my CC because I get alerts few seconds after my CC is used. I'm at work right now so I have to call tomorrow. I hope I just didn't get ripped off $180.

You should have received a confirmation email with that information right away. I would call anyway and see if they can look up your account another way. Especially since your card was charged!

I had expire courses (bio 121; chem 121) and instead of taking them over and waiting to apply next year I took the CLEP exams to test out of those subjects. I wasn't given this option when I visited an academic advisor to inquire about the program. I read the option on the website and researched it on my own. I ended up taking 2 CLEP exams and the TEAS exam in the same week. You need to score at least a 50 on each clep exam to receive credit. I'm glad I did this instead of just listening to the advisors because I would not be in the program now. So if anyone reading this that is thinking about applying and have expired courses or required classes that you haven't taken yet but don't want to spend $599 or more each class to get the credit then consider CLEP exams. I studied for about 4 weeks before I took the exams. and spent $110 for each exam (that includes registration fee).

My gpa is 2.480 but i completed all of my prerequisite for the adn program at mxc. Has anyone got into the program with a low g.p.a but high teas test?. I didn't take the teas test yet.
