Hey guys! My name’s Aminah and I’m gearing up to apply to Malcolm X’s Fall 2021 nursing program (woo-hoo!). Previous Malcolm X forums have been super helpful with giving me an idea of the program/ preparing me to apply so I wanted to start one for Fall 2021! 

I believe the application cycle begins January 4th. Would love to get in contact with other applicants! Have you taken the TEAS already? Do you still have a prereq to complete? Let’s chat ?.

Does the TB test need to be taken 30 days before the semester as well?

I completed my TB test in January (before I received the nursing packet) and they accepted the results.

I spoke with someone yesterday who applied for the fall nursing program and mentioned there is a waitlist...?

I would try and call/email to find out more information and hope someone gets back to you.

Hey! Yes, keep us updated. Are you still retaking the TEAS tmrw?

Will do. No, I was told that the nursing department already have my application. They just updated the CNA certification to not applicable today, praying I hear a decision soon.

I received my acceptance offer today. Overjoyed and relieved ??????
