Malcolm X -City Colleges of Chicago School of Nursing- Spring 2023

Anyone applying for Malcolm X College for Spring 2023? Figured I'd start a discussion. I applied to the RN program and am waiting for them to update my cumulative GPA, background check, and medical document submission. 

I am from other forums they said to buy them directly from medline but not sure how their size chart. I know for my CNA they gave me some scrubs but they were huge.

Im going to by Figs brand online and buy the patches to attach it by myself from the store near south loop, They also have white lap coat too. if anyone want the address let me know.

Do Figs run true to size?

Hi! Congrats to everybody who got accepted! I just have one question for the background check did you guys have to upload it somewhere? I ordered mine through castle branch back in October and it was approved. The school is telling me I had to submit it on the portal? It never gave me an option and I was under the impression that once approved the school automatically gets it.

That’s weird because once I did it through Castle Branch that was it that was all. It was nothing else to it. Who told you that?

I had to save it and attached the file. It didn’t do it automatically.

Clinical coordinator I was in contact with through email. That’s what I told them because I even read the nursing packet so many times looking for instructions that I have to submit it on the portal and I found nothing. I even reread emails sent to me and nothing. But now that’s what they’re telling me to do.

They told me to reach out to technical support and library. I reached out to both and they couldn’t help me.

I sent it to (MODERATOR EDIT OF INITIALS) and (MODERATOR EDIT OF INITIALS) both administrative assistant.

Hi, I was accepted into the ADN program and I'm trying to enroll for classes but it won't allow me to finish the process.  Can anyone give me some insight?
