Anyone applying for Malcolm X College for Spring 2023? Figured I'd start a discussion. I applied to the RN program and am waiting for them to update my cumulative GPA, background check, and medical document submission.

I have a question. Have you guys completed everything in castle branch? Because my application on ccc website still says that my medical records and background check are incomplete. I reached out to someone in office through email and she said that they have gotten my background check results and my medical records are completed aside from the drug test and tb test and it’s still marked incomplete. I’m getting really frustrated going back and forth and not making progress with this issue. ?

Same here. I’m so sick of the back and forth with them and this CastleBranch. It’s ridiculous! I talk to someone through financial aid and he even vouched for me but they told him I didn’t upload the 2nd Hep B shot with a healthcare provider signature . But that’s not originally what I was told by the department why it was rejected by CastleBranch. I accepted the LPN so I wouldn’t miss the deadline to accept the seat. I’m still trying to get a seat with the ADN

I've emailed several people and I am waiting a response. I am super upset because the process was not easy or cheap to end up not getting in because people refuse to read.

I feel the same way. I’m so frustrated I just wanna cry ? I’m gonna try and reach out again to see what’s the hold up on my application if I have submitted everything and why they haven’t updated the status to complete.

Definitely! Next, I'm going up there to see what the problem is. Apparently calling and emailing is not working. I have a zoom conference with one of the professors over the program so hopefully I'll get it sorted. Good luck to you! I hope you will be able to do the same

I called a few times and I was directed to email not sure if we can put in this forum a person’s contact. But I suggest you call and if calling is not working go to the school. Also, you can zoom to speak to someone.

I was able to talk to somebody. She said if you submitted requirements after nov 13 that you don’t qualify. I got everything done before the 13th of nov but I got my Hep b 2 and updated immunization record last week, she just told me to email her and send her all proof that I submitted everything on time.

Did you call the main office or someone in particular? I know we can’t share names here but if you know their title or initials LOL

See the back and forth I’m talking about. She gave me a extension until the 15th of this month to upload the Hep B shot . I got it done last week when we spoke on the 7th. Like literally after the convo I went to Walgreens got it. Nobody on the same page and that’s what is irritating
