Malcolm X -City Colleges of Chicago School of Nursing- Spring 2023

Anyone applying for Malcolm X College for Spring 2023? Figured I'd start a discussion. I applied to the RN program and am waiting for them to update my cumulative GPA, background check, and medical document submission.

Thanks everyone. I called and emailed -------------------- and she got back to me very quickly. Said she will pass my email about requirements still being marked incomplete along to the admissions committee. I’m not feeling very hopeful since my cumulative GPA is low and I had to write a letter explaining why. But, congrats to all who have been accepted and thanks again for all the information about who to contact!!

How low is your GPA? I have a 2.95 and they are willing to give me a seat it’s the Hep B I’m having trouble with nothing else

It’s a 2.5 ? I have a previous bachelors degree which is tanking it because I was not ready for college at 18. I have a 4.0 at City Colleges, including microbio and A&P.

After alot of bickering. I was finally offered a seat in the ADN program! -------------------- said I should be seeing a change in my portal soon
