Anybody contacted for PCU 200? On the careers website, they posted 1 opening each for a bunch of units! (Bass, PICU, 300 and 200)—which they usually do when they pick their candidates...

For the folks that were selected for PCU 200 and 300 could you confirm if all of the PCU slots were filled?

I remember during the first round interview stage that PCU 200 was hiring 2 candidates, but I don't want to get my hopes up if they ended up filling both slots (Assuming they still intended to hire 2 candidates for PCU 200).

Anyone get offers or denials from the Acute units?

Anyone have any luck calling them to get an offer or denial if you need to know for other job offers?

I can’t believe how long they’re taking unless they’ve given out all offers already and just aren’t sending rejections.

I also interviewed with Acute Care and haven't heard back. The wait is atrocious. Honestly at this point, my hopes aren't high. If you haven't heard back it probably means you were not selected. HR usually never sends rejections out until they have secured their #1 candidate on paper (verbal offer, the candidate accepting verbally, and then finally signing the contract on paper). This is because if HR sends out rejections first, and then it turns out their selected candidate backs out before signing the contract (or the background check pulls up something unexpected/references don't check out) it will reflect really bad on Stanford if they have to recall their next candidate on the list and say "never mind, we take that rejection back. Would you like to take a position here?" Also, candidates should never find out they were not the first choice. Hence, this might be why HR takes so long to send out rejections. It sucks to be waiting this long, especially if I don't get the position (I rejected two other offers for a chance to work at Stanford), but its all part of the process.

Are you still eligible for this new grad program if you have 2 months of RN experience? I got an invite to interview but I already have 2 months of acute care RN experience with adults (but I was on orientation – I have not been on my own yet). I couldn't find anything about it on their website and HR hasn't responded to me either.

Squishybear, did you ever figure this out? Can anyone from this round of applications confirm whether or not you are still eligible with less than 6 months paid RN experience? I've got a per diem job offer I really want to take, but I don't want to be disqualified for LPCH.

Is there a recruiter that we would be able to reach out to to see if/when they are postponing the next round for the residency will be?

Hello! I'm wondering what the application process is - do we apply for 2 units, indicating or first and second choice? Do we use the same cover letter for both? Or we do apply separately to 2 different units? Or can we apply to more than 2?

Thank you!
